Before you use the result

For straightforward print runs only. Artwork, delivery and unusual requirements need manual review. The result is an estimate, not an automatically accepted customer quote.

How it works

Use PrintQuote for a straightforward run with one blank cost and one decoration cost per item. It estimates the job price from your production assumptions. Review artwork, delivery and special finishing separately.

  1. Enter the number of items the customer needs and the blank and decoration cost per item.
  2. Add an extra production allowance and any setup or fixed costs. The production quantity rounds up to a whole item.
  3. Choose a target margin. The calculator divides production cost by 1 minus that margin and spreads the price over the ordered quantity.

Worked example

For 50 ordered items and a 5% extra production allowance, the tool costs 53 items. At 4 for a blank and 2 for decoration, plus 30 setup, cost is 348. A 40% target margin gives a job price of 580, or 11.60 per ordered item. The 5% is an extra-unit allowance, not a measured defect rate.

Is this suitable for complex screen-printing quotes?

Only if one averaged decoration cost adequately represents the work. Multiple colours, screens, locations and quantity breaks need separate costing. Review the result before sending a quote.

Can I embed the paid edition?

The proposed offline licence includes embedding on your own business website. Inputs and rates remain editable in the HTML tool; it is not a protected quotation or checkout system.
